Quiet remembrances have been planned on Saturday to honor the victims in the deadly Boston Marathon attacks, which happened four years ago.

Three spectators were killed and over 260 others were wounded after two bombs planted near the finish line exploded on April 15, 2013, spraying shrapnel into the crowds.

A Massachusetts Institute of Technology police officer was also killed later while struggling with the bombers as they tried to steal his gun.

Bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev was killed in a police standoff. His younger brother, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, was convicted on federal charges and sentenced to death.

Volunteers have planted thousands of daffodils along the marathon course in solidarity.

I'd rather see him die too....but life in a Super Max prison would be alright. He's locked down
23 hours a day, restricted phone calls & mail, in an 10 x 10 cell. He must stand up for headcount
five times daily and can ONLY leave his cell in chains, escorted by guards. Visits by family are
forbidden. Only lawyers, guards and prison medical officials ever enter his cell. He has a 12
inch TV and I doubt he gets to see UFC events on it.

He's at such a prison right now: ADX in Florence, Colorado.

His big brother probably never told him about all this crap. LOL....:):)

this girl pictured was a close childhood friend. she was waiting for her mother to finish the race when the bomb went off. her sister who is another childhood friend of mine lost both of her legs. their mom was stopped as she approached the finish of the race, they couldnt communicate and find either of them for a long time. with cell phones disconnected they could find them for hours. this was an awful day.

my friend who lost her legs wrote a childrens book and for anyone who would like to support it its called "The Journey of Nem"
its a story for children but is somewhat about that day and her recovery from it.
anyone who would like to support her that is a way
